This tee is a tribute to General Order No. 3—the 1865 military order that finally informed enslaved Black people in Texas that they were free, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. Delivered in Galveston on June 19th, it marked a delayed but powerful moment of liberation that continues to echo today.
The front design centers a raised fist breaking chains beneath a rising sun—rendered in the red, white, and blue of the Juneteenth flag. On the back, Galveston, Texas and Know Your History serve as a clear reminder: this is American history. This is Black history.
Printed on a bone-colored, relaxed fit tee made from mid-weight, 100% combed cotton. Comfortable, breathable, and built to move with you.
