About 17th & Granville

17th & Granville is a clothing brand for anyone who wants to look like the best version of themselves. We are a brand that celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of all people, especially those in our BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.

Everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin. We believe that everyone deserves to wear what makes them feel good about themselves, no matter what anyone else thinks. Our goal is to provide affordable clothing that allows you to do just that—to express yourself without breaking the bank.

17th & Granville is for the risk takers, the creatives, and everyone who feels like they don’t fit into society’s narrow view of what it means to be human. When we say “For Those That Are Out There,” we mean it—because we know there’s no better feeling than discovering your own personal style and knowing that it reflects exactly who you are.

Meet Founder and CEO Anissa "Donny" Truitt (she/they)

As a non-binary/gender-fluid techie and entrepreneur, I've had many experiences navigating fashion for comfort and overall expression. Passionate about my identity as a Black and Queer person, I decided to create something that empowered the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ community. Something that allowed us to reclaim our stories and tell them from our point of view. From lived experiences, I create positive imagery and messaging on clothing for the community. I want to highlight how we need more representation in the fashion industry. Still, I also want to promote conversation between the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities. The opportunities for education to help spread awareness and garner support are endless. This is just a start toward making a difference, building relationships, and strengthening communities.
