This is not about trends.
This is about comfort, self expression, and dignity in a world that keeps trying to take those things from us.
These pieces were made to be worn out loud or quietly under a jacket. To work. To rest. To move through the world as yourself.

Why Resist Exists
Resist was created from exhaustion.
Exhaustion from watching our communities debated instead of protected.Exhaustion from seeing our lives treated as optional.Exhaustion from being told to wait while harm keeps happening.
I am a Black nonbinary founder. I built 17th and Granville because I wanted to create something honest. Something that did not ask people like me to soften or explain ourselves to be worthy of care.
Resist is not about being angry all the time.It is about refusing to disappear. It is about choosing yourself even when the world makes that hard.

17th & Granville has grown through real people showing up. At pop-ups. At Pride. At community events. Through word of mouth and shared values.
We’ve been featured by Baltimore Banner, Love Inc Magazine, and Apple at Work. But the real validation comes from customers who tell us they finally feel seen when they wear our pieces.
