17th & Granville Partners with RUSH University Medical Center to Support the Dignity Cart
17th & Granville has partnered with RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago to support the launch of the Dignity Cart, an initiative created to provide affirming clothing and personal items to LGBTQ+ patients.
As part of the partnership, 17th & Granville is contributing donated apparel and affirming items to help expand access to clothing that supports comfort, dignity, and self-expression during care.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to creating more affirming experiences for LGBTQ+ patients and communities while extending 17th & Granvilleβs community work beyond traditional retail and events.
βPartnerships like this matter because support should feel practical and personal,β said Anissa βDonnyβ Truitt, founder of 17th & Granville. βClothing can play a real role in helping someone feel more comfortable and more like themselves, especially in spaces where dignity and care matter most.β
The Dignity Cart partnership is part of 17th & Granvilleβs broader commitment to community support through product donations, philanthropic giving, sponsorships, and partnerships with organizations serving Black and LGBTQ+ communities.
